Independent consulting in marketing, regulatory compliance (ISO, ENS, GDPR), digitization and B2B sales from Aranda de Duero (Castilla y Leon) covering all of Spain.

The sector with more history and less marketing professionalisation than any other. I work with premium and boutique wineries in DO Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Cigales, Arlanza and others. Serious positioning, narrative that respects the terroir, packaging that sells without slipping into cliché.

The reality of the sector

The sector with the most poetry and the least rigour in marketing.

Spain has the largest vineyard surface in the world and is one of the largest wine producers. However, in value per hectare and per bottle, we sit well below France or Italy. The difference is not in the product — it's in marketing, brand and narrative. The vast majority of Spanish wineries, even premium ones, still communicate as if we were in 1995.

I work with wineries that want to change that: from packaging redesign with neuroscientific criteria, to branded content that builds oenological authority, to export strategies for premium markets (US, UK, Asia). I know Burgos's Ribera del Duero and the Rueda area in detail — and I respect the sector's cultural code without falling into cliché or generic marketing.

Typical services for wineries

Positioning, packaging, branded content and exports.

Common combination: strategic positioning that defines narrative territory (beyond ‘tradition’), packaging validated with eye-tracking, branded content that builds brand authority, and an export plan for premium markets.

Frequently asked questions

What wineries ask me most.

Do you really know the wine sector?+

I grew up in Aranda de Duero, the epicentre of DO Ribera del Duero. I know the families, the cooperatives, the winemakers, the social codes of the sector. That means I don't arrive to learn — I arrive already knowing. For a winery, that factor saves months of work and avoids costly mistakes.

How much does it cost to work with a small winery?+

I adapt the scope to the size and moment of the winery. A boutique winery producing 100,000 bottles/year fits manageable budgets; a premium winery with larger output and export ambitions scales up. The first session defines what's feasible in your case.

Do you work with wineries outside Castile and León?+

Yes. I've worked with wineries in Rioja, Toro, Bierzo, Galicia and international markets. The area where I have the most density is Ribera del Duero, due to proximity and network, but the method and cultural sensitivity apply to any wine region with its own specifics.

Do you also handle exports?+

Yes, as a strategic part of the marketing work. Export plan design, identification of premium target markets, brand adaptation by market, coordination with distributors and opinion leaders. For the logistics piece, I work with specialist consultancies.

Do you work with cooperatives?+

Yes. Cooperatives have particular dynamics (collegial governance, collective identity, cooperative member-market relationship). I've designed strategic plans for several Castile-and-León cooperatives that have professionalised their marketing while keeping their collective essence.
