Accessibility statement.

This website (angelortegacastro.com) works to guarantee accessibility in line with Spanish Royal Decree 1112/2018, which transposes Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications, and follows the WCAG 2.1 level AA guidelines as an international reference.

Compliance status.

The site is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements of UNE-EN 301 549:2022. Pending improvements have been identified in some legacy interactive components.

Measures applied on this site.

• Semantic HTML5 structure (header, nav, main, article, aside, footer) with correct landmarks.
• "Skip to main content" link available on every page for keyboard navigation.
• Colour contrast meeting at least 4.5:1 for body text and 3:1 for large text.
• Images with descriptive alternative text (alt attribute).
• Visible focus on all interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields).
• Full keyboard navigation (Tab, Enter, Escape).
• Base font size of 18 px with generous line-height (1.7) and relative units for scaling.
• Valid HTML documents with the language declaration lang="en".
• aria-label attributes on non-textual elements (logos, icons, close buttons).
• Support for operating-system preferences (prefers-reduced-motion, prefers-color-scheme where applicable).

Non-accessible content.

Some content may not be fully accessible. In particular:

• Older PDF documents linked from the blog that have not been remediated yet.
• Embedded third-party videos (YouTube, Vimeo) whose subtitle track depends on the provider.
• Mobile mega-menu components that require active JavaScript for some states.

• The exact URL of the affected page.
• The problem found (what you were trying to do, what happened).

Enforcement procedure.

If the response is not satisfactory, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Ombudsman's office or the equivalent body under the second additional provision of Royal Decree 1112/2018.
